Security and your data

No bank connections — by design

• SubReady has no bank feeds and no open-banking connections. It cannot touch your bank account because it is never given access to it.
• Bank data enters SubReady one way only: you choose a statement PDF and send it — see statement upload. You decide which months and which accounts.
• Anyone claiming to be SubReady and asking for bank login details is a scammer — report it via support.

Who can see your records

1. You. Your books are yours.
2. Your accountant — only if you approve it. Access is read-only, granted in Settings → Accountant access, and revocable at any time (details).
3. Nobody else. SubReady never discusses your data with other users, and support staff access is limited to what’s needed to help you.

Your rights and controls

• UK GDPR applies — access, correction, export and deletion rights are described in the Privacy Policy and GDPR page.
• Export your records any time via the accountant export.
• If your subscription lapses, records are locked, not deleted — how billing works.

Sensible habits on your side

1. Keep your login PIN private; reset it via WhatsApp if forgotten.
2. Keep WhatsApp itself secured (device lock, two-step verification in WhatsApp settings).
3. Send statements from your own banking app’s PDF export — never share credentials with anyone.
