The Annual Return and accountant export

What the Annual Return shows

• Total income for the tax year (6 April – 5 April), on your accounting basis (cash by default).
• Expenses grouped by category — materials, fuel, tools, insurance and the rest.
• Mileage allowance for the year’s logged trips.
• Total CIS deducted, per contractor, from your uploaded statements.
• Every figure is clickable — drill down to the exact receipts, invoices and statement lines behind it.

Exporting for your accountant

1. Open Annual Return in the web or mobile app.
2. Review the figures — fix anything odd at source (the return rebuilds instantly).
3. Choose export to produce the accountant pack.
4. Or say “send my accountant pack” on WhatsApp and SubReady points you through it.

Read-only accountant access

1. Go to Settings → Accountant access (or ask on WhatsApp: “can my accountant see my records?”).
2. Invite your accountant — access is read-only and only granted once you approve it.
3. Revoke at any time from the same screen. You stay in control.
