Help · TaxSavings interest, dividends, pensions and other income
Not every pound is trade or rent — SubReady tracks the rest too, so nothing’s missing when your return is built.
Turn a source on
- Open Settings → Income sources in the web or mobile app and switch on any that apply: Savings interest, Dividends, Pensions & benefits, Foreign income, Other income.
- Turning one on adds it alongside whatever you already have — your trade, property or PAYE income is never removed.
Logging each on WhatsApp
- Savings interest: “savings interest 45”.
- Dividends: “dividend 200 from ABC Ltd”.
- Pensions & benefits: “pension 500”.
- Foreign income: “foreign income 300”.
- Other/casual income: “other income 150 selling tools on ebay”.
SubReady reads the context and routes each to the right kind automatically — no separate command needed for each one.
In the annual wizard
Everything logged through the year becomes a computed default in the Annual Return’s Self Assessment wizard for that income type — you don’t re-enter it. Every default is still editable there, so you can correct or override a figure before filing.
Foreign income — an honest note: foreign income logging isn’t fully automated. It’s captured and totalled like the others, but the app flags it “needs review” and it always needs a manual check before filing — double taxation treaties, foreign tax already paid and currency conversion are the kind of thing that needs a human eye (often your accountant’s). Treat the figure as a well-organised starting point, not a finished foreign-income return.
